So 2019, was it really all that great?
2019 had a lot going for it. So much so that as we started reflecting on it we decided to write a little blog about it. You know, for posterity’s sake. And because we know you care.

New HubSpot Modules
Simple Columns
The simple columns module makes it easy to create content that spans multiple columns without having to create multiple templates for a fairly simple task. Previously, our clients would create a template for “1 Column”, “2 Column – Right”, “2 Column – Left”, etc., etc.
Now, you can use a single template and use the custom module to create as many columns in as many variations as you want thanks to CSS Flexbox and HubSpot’s repeating field functionality.

Simple Photo Gallery
Another common thing that our clients want is a nice gallery module for their HubSpot website. By using the amazing PhotoSwipe javascript plugin under the hood, you’re able to use gesture-based navigation on touch-capable devices all with extremely smooth animations.

New Employees
We are super happy to have brought on a couple of great employees this year. Having worked with them previously, we knew we had to hire them when they were in the job market.

He’s got the voice of Bear Rinehart and the organizational skills of an OCD librarian. We love this guy. He also plays a mean guitar!
Brandon Berlew
This guy creates beautiful graphics, and spectacular motion graphics. He’s truly talented at what he does and we love him despite the fact that he drives a red Mustang.
New Babies Everywhere!
We’re going to have to open our own daycare soon!
In March, Caleb and his wife had their second daughter confirming that he will be broke for the next 18 years!
Stefen’s slowly getting closer and closer to having his own basketball team as he and his family celebrated their FOURTH baby in September.
Joe and his wife have forgotten what sleep feels like with their first baby in November.
And Luke and his wife are just a couple of weeks away from having their first baby as well. We think it’s safe to say there’s something in the water at the Kelp office.
New Website
We’re a creative agency! We can’t help but want to create new things! As much as we liked our old site, we felt it was in drastic need of a revamp in order to properly meet our business goals over the next 2 years. Plus we think it looks cooler. You’ll see the site update periodically throughout 2020 so come back to see how we do.
